From the Widen the Welcome teamTo follow up on your good questions and comments, we look forward to hosting Dr. Marvin Wickware on Sunday, November 10, for worship and follow-up conversation. Dr. Wickware teaches Christian ethics, race, and Christianity at the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago.

Once a month we cook for homeless guests of PADS. This month please consider contributing needed ingredients to help in our efforts. please check the list on the church office window or call the office at 708-799-1160 for specific information. We're thankful for Lee Brauer who heads this ministry, and she can be reached at 708-769-3432

On Saturday, November 16, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, we will serve at Feed My Starving Children in Aurora.  This is especially good for kids and families age 5 and up. FMSC packs shelf-stable meals and sends them to places of crisis or famine. Hope to see you there!
